Recently on a Friday afternoon, my husband wanted to take the cameras out to practice and for me to teach him more about settings and what not on the camera. We packed up our gear and headed over to the Southside of Pittsburgh to the river parking lot. I recently discovered another work of Baron Batch's in the Southside at the one end of the Riverfront Trail. It's called the Color Park! This is where Danny picked to go to try some out some new settings on the camera. There's also an area we found before that has concrete stairs that loop down to the water with a dock. We parked and started here with stone walls, graffiti, and greenery as backgrounds. And of course the city. As the sun started setting we made our way back up to the Color Park. Danny was pretty excited about the outcome! If you book a wedding with me, Danny will be attending as well as my second shooter! I'm pretty proud of how he's worked so hard to develop an eye for photography and has really been diving in to learning new things and evolving his skills! All photos of the redhead (aka me) are by him! Here are some of our shots from that day!
