We had the opportunity to photograph Alayna & Chet’s emotional wedding day. Every part of the day was filled with genuine joy. I witnessed so many emotional moments - Alayna reading a letter from her soon to be husband, the father daughter first look, walking down the aisle to say their “I dos”, speeches, first dancers, & as the last song played to bring their incredible day to a close. Being able to capture all of these moments for people to hold on to forever is why I love my job. We wish Alayna & Chet the best of luck on this new adventure!

TAYLOR & PATRICK

We’ve known Taylor since high school and got to meet her then soon to be husband Patrick last winter when we took their engagement photos. It’s always fun getting to see and photograph such a special event for people you know! Their engagement photos and wedding were at the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Their pup Isla was in attendance for engagement photos, but had to stay behind for the wedding. However Taylor’s friends made sure she had a picture of Isla so she could still be a part of the wedding! Their Gatsy theme was present throughout every detail - from their invitations, to the attire, cocktails, & even the groom’s cigar bar. The personality and love of Taylor & Patrick was present from start to finish. We wish these two the best of luck on this new adventure!

HALEIGH & BRIAN

August is a popular month for weddings, & one of them was Haleigh & Brian’s big day! They got married outside at the beautiful Red Fox Winery, followed by a reception inside the winery. The rustic details and vibrant summer colors made for incredible photos from start to finish. Brian & Haleigh’s love for each other was apparent from the first look as the bride walked down the aisle to her soon to be husband. They laughed & danced the night away, kicking off this new and exciting journey!

MEGAN & NATHAN

Megan & Nathan were one of the most calm, cool, and collected couples on their wedding day that I had ever seen. The day started with casually getting ready and hanging out with a few close friends and family members. The guys walked around with Yuenglings as we took their photos as the girls were hanging out quietly in a room. It was the perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony. The rest of the night was filled with dancing mostly from some of the most outgoing groomsmen I’ve met. A personal firework show brought their perfect day to a close. MATT & DANI

We had the opportunity to photograph Matt & Dani’s marriage that was uniquely them. They invited close friends and family to gather at the Bigham Tavern in Mount Washington where they shared their love story. The warm summer night continued outside with conversations, good food, & lots of laughs. We’re so glad we got to witness these two start this journey together in a way that fit them so well!

Nicole & Tyler’s fun loving personalities were clear to everyone their entire wedding day! Emily & Mike's wedding was my last wedding for the summer season! It began with a stunning ceremony at Memorial Park Church filled with the sunlight and colors streaming in through stained glass. We then had an opportunity to take photos at the West End Overlook under the gorgeous walkway, beneath trees, and in front of the city skyline. The sun was shining and the vast blue skies worked in our favor for this wedding day! The night continued and concluded with laughter and a lot of dancing!

An entire wedding day spent outside in the summer sun surrounded by loved ones! Kristen and Eric got married at Goodell Gardens near Edinboro, Pa. The setting for the day included many flowers, trees, and other various greenery. The unique personalities and this couple spread throughout the day from walking down the aisle to Lord of the Rings music, to the BBQ food truck dinner, all the way through the reception in the string light filled barn. On a stormy spring morning, I photographed Julianne & Steve's wedding at Saint Mary of the Mount Parish during a thunderstorm. The rain ended with the ceremony, allowing us to hop across the street to take pictures of the newlyweds above the Pittsburgh skyline at the Mount Washington Overlook. We then made our way to Chatham Village and then to the couple's favorite bar, Bigham Tavern, before heading downtown to the Embassy Suites for a beautiful reception.
