I met Marina & Casey in college when we were all in the graphic design program. We all graduated together, but these two didn’t start dating until after college! The love that these two have will seriously warm your heart. Most couples tell me that they don’t know how to have their picture taken, Marina & Casey included, but then they walked into the session I knew they were going to make my job way easier. These two couldn’t stop laughing, smiling, & making silly faces at each other. Between their cuteness, golden hour, & a motorcycle, this definitely made for one of my favorite sessions so far.

Katie & Jeremy were my first session back after the stay at home orders were lifted! I couldn’t have asked for a better session to come back to. You’d be surprised how rarely I get requests to do photo sessions in downtown Pittsburgh, but I love it every time I do. The city of Pittsburgh really is something special & it’s always exciting to walk around downtown and see what has changed & what has stayed the same. I loved getting to see Katie & Jeremy’s interactions with one another & I can’t wait to photograph their wedding later on this year!

SKYLER & JEREMY
This beautiful snowy scene lasted just long enough for us to have a winter wonderland for this engagement session! Skyler had hoped for snow & I’m so glad we got it. Skyler & Jeremy didn’t need any coaching from me as they were incredibly adorable all on their own! I just stepped back & photographed them interacting with each other naturally & lovingly. I love capturing the little moments of couples laughing together and just genuinely enjoying their time. Congratulations to Skyler & Jeremy on your engagement & I can’t wait for your winter wedding!

These are two of the kindest people you could ever meet. As soon as I met them they filled the space with light & smiles. These two have a love story that progressed quickly because they just knew they were meant for each other. After spending a little time with them it was obvious how much love they have for one another. I’m so fortunate that we got to photograph & witness these two say “I do” as well this past January! We met Larissa & Derek last year when their puppy Paisley and our puppy Juniper were in puppy training classes together. Since then, these two got engaged over the summer while on a trip to the incredible Canadian national parks, Banff & Jasper. I was so excited to get to photograph their engagement pictures, and of course pet Paisley. They’re such a fun couple and their joy of just being together made it easy to get adorable pictures. We can’t wait for their wedding next fall!

Haley & Jordan couldn’t have picked a better spot for engagement photos! Conveniently, they know someone who lives at this farm and they were generous enough to let us take photos here! ROB & TAYLOR
I had the most fun with Rob & Taylor at their engagement session! They were adorable and couldn’t stop laughing the entire time, which made for some great photos! They incorporated one of their favorite breweries, 11th Hour Brewing in Lawrenceville, and a variety of their favorite things including Harry Potter and Star Wars. The session ended with of course, a wand versus lightsaber battle.

I met Paul, Megan, & their pup in the park on a hot spring day. We started at South Park by the water, and wandered around to walking bridge, and finished under the trees. These two were full of smiles & excitement! After the park we made our way to one of their favorite hangouts, Spoonwood Brewery. They even let us into where they brew to take some photos! I loved getting to photograph Paul & Megan’s pure joy just to be together, and of course drink a beer. Congratulations on your engagement Paul & Megan!

I met Chelsea when we were 5 years old on the bus to kindergarten, and now she’s getting married! I was excited & honored when these two asked me to take their engagement photos. Their love for each other and their personalities came out in all of the photos. They even climbed up a hill and onto some giant rocks, no questions asked! I ended 2018 with a downtown engagement session with Taylor & Patrick! They decided to have their engagement photos done at the spot where they’ll be married this upcoming fall, at the Omni William Penn Hotel. We explored the outside and inside, stopping to take some adorable photos along the way, while also getting lost inside this elaborate hotel. They even brought their little pup Isla to join in the fun!

At the end of the fall season, I had the opportunity to photograph Sam & Mike at the Oliver Miller Homestead. It was a chilly, but beautiful morning. On a 90 degree day in Cumberland, Maryland, I met Emily & Martin at Emily's old high school to take engagement photos! They had scoped out an overlook spot that opened up to gorgeous green mountains. We made our way through the forest behind the school to the overlook, along various trails, and through a multitude of green fields and wooded areas. Throughout the session, Emily & Martin's love for each other was apparent through their continuous laughter. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to take these engagement photos!

Emily & Mike were my very last session of 2016! They braved the cold and sunny last morning of the year atop of the Smithfield Bridge and traversing Washington's Landing. This couple made it easy to get some epic shots, running on to the middle of the bridge, and climbing on top of stone walls.
