I had the honor of photographing my friends son and daughter as a Mother's Day surprise in the Mexican War Streets of Pittsburgh. These two kids are the most fun, most adorable, and most adventurous. The shoot began with Sara cutting her finger on a wall within the first minute of exiting the car. Curious and adventurous this girl. While dad and grandma tended to Sara, which included bribery by donut, I got to hear about Milo's last Spring show before kindergarten, how much he loves soccer, and that he's excited that mommy gets to go to school with him on the first day. As Milo was telling me about his life, he continuously climbed a tree in the garden space across from Commonplace Coffee. I brought out my camera and kept listening to his stories as I photographed his mini adventure on the Northside.

Sara shortly joined us, and immediately wanted to climb the tree with her big brother. With the assistance of a chair (and a lot of spotting from dad), she joined MIlo on his adventure. She laughed as she climbed and cheesed so hard, making sure I was taking her picture. We walked around the streets of the Northside as the kids found everything and anything to play with. We moseyed on over to Randyland, which the kids had never been to before! We tricked Milo and Sara into a few poses with each other in between digging in the sand and playing with the dinosaurs.

These two kids have so much spirit and personality at such a young age. Milo is silly, caring. curious, and adventurous. Sara is fearless, cheeky, persistent, and jubilant. I love getting to see these kids grow into tiny people. Thank you Kevin & Justina for letting me capture these moments of your little ones!
