A few weekends back, my mom came down to the city to visit for the day. We met for an amazing brunch at Bigham Tavern in Mount Washington, followed by a trip to the National Aviary on the Northside of the city. I finally was able to invest in a Canon 5D Mark III and was super anxious to test it out on some stunning birds! I'm always impressed by the diversity of birds at the Aviary. From penguins, to the new Eurasian Eagle owl chicks, to the massive birds in the Condor Court. There is so much to see and learn at this place! And of course, so much to photograph!
