I have this friend. Her name is Donyisha, Yasha for short. You've probably seen her in photos and blogs on here before, so here's another one!
Yasha and I lived in a house together with a bunch of other girls my senior year of college. Now we both conveniently live in the great city of Pittsburgh. We're both creative people so we try to help each other fuel that and keep the creativity alive. The winter gets insanely boring with the lack of people wanting to take pictures in the cold, and I totally get it. So when clients don't want to take pictures out in the cold, I have my friends do it!
We started our day with brunch at O'leary's in the Southside and then made our way to the Strip District for some coffee at De Fer Coffee & Tea. We ventured through the streets finding amazing lighting in the alleyways, puddles for reflection shots, and loading docks to put Yasha on. The Strip District is one of my favorite places to visit in general, but also to take photos. I don't get down there nearly enough or photograph there as much as I'd like to, but this is a start!
Yasha is a videographer who was also shooting film of me for one of her projects that day. I got a few photos of her in action! If you want to check out her work, follow the links below!
