One Sunday on a 90 degree day in June, my husband and I traveled to the great state of Maryland to meet with one of my friends from college. Emily & Martin are engaged! We met her at her old high school to venture through the wooded trails to take some engagement photos. They showed us a spot that they had been planning for the photos which was a gorgeous overlook through the woods and out to the mountains! We started our session (carefully!) here. Emily & Martin are opposites in the best possible way! She was a theater major who has a glorious amount of spunk and positivity, and Martin is the logical less animated of the pair. At least one thing that they certainly have in common is love for one another.
We made out way through the dirt trails, over trees, through open forest areas and into some not so open forest areas. The surrounding greenery made for stunning backgrounds and textures. I watched as we made our way through the woods how Emily & Martin interacted, laughed, and held hands as they walked. I was truly honored to be able to capture these moments for a dear friend of mine!
